Click a topic to read the full guideUnmarked Intersections & Right-Hand Rule
At equal unmarked intersections, drivers approaching from the right have priority. Pedestrians are not drivers.
Priority Hierarchy & Priority Roads (B1–B7)
Resolve priority strictly in order: Emergency vehicles, Police/Marshals, Traffic lights, Signs/Markings, then General rules.
Turning Traffic & Straight-Ahead Rules
Straight-ahead traffic on the same road goes before turning traffic. Short right turn goes before long left turn.
Roundabouts & Shark Teeth (Haaietanden)
Shark teeth require yielding to all drivers on the intersecting road. Roundabout rules depend on signs, markings, and built-up areas.
Special Vehicles: Trams, Funeral Processions & Convoys
Trams always have priority at equal intersections. Funeral corteges with official flags and military convoys may not be severed once underway.
